Police investigation showed that complainant Noriwo Ubedei called and reported the police after he discovered that his house was burglarized and his 10 pieces golf club worth $1,200, GPS worth $600 and laptop amounting to $2,000 were stolen by unidentified suspects.
Further investigation disclosed that suspect entered the house by opening the back sliding window.
The incident happened while the victim was off -island.
The case is under police investigation.
Meanwhile another incident of grand larceny was reported at Belau National Hospital.
According to the police report, at around 9:30 a.m. patient Omekatelchol Ngirbabul left his wallet inside his pillow and went to dialysis. When he returned to his room at the Surgical Ward he saw his wallet on top of his bed and his money amounting to $30 was missing.
The case is still pending for further investigation.
