Cabrera, 26, is being held on charges of four counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the fourth degree, and two counts of disturbing the peace of his victim.
The defendant was earlier arrested for one count of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, and one count of sexual assault of his victim in 2004 and 2008.
Associate Judge David Wiseman remanded Cabrera to the custody of the Department of Corrections.
