Kagman student to attend US summer program

The summer program will be held on June 25 through July 25.

Prado is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobison Prado of Tanapag. During her leisure time, Angela reads novels and cooks.  Currently, she is an active member of the KagHS National Honor Society.

Live performers

THE 2010 Marianas March Against Cancer committee is looking for singers, dancers, bands and other entertainers who are interested in performing live at the 2010 MMAC.  There are different time slots available throughout the event which will run from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on May 14-15 at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.

All entertainers are encouraged to show their support in the fight against cancer by volunteering to perform at the largest cancer fundraising event in the CNMI.

Dean’s list

LA GRANDE, Ore. (EOU) — Gail Williams is among the more than 500 students enrolled at Eastern Oregon University for the 2009 fall term who have been named to the dean’s list.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must achieve and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded coursework for the duration of the term.

Computer class

THE Philippine Consulate General and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office have announced the opening of the registration for the Basic Computer Operations 1 class.

Classes will be held every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. starting on April 24.
