Trench Tech promoter Cuki Alvarez said there will be submission fighters from Guam who will participate in the event that will be held on June 19 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.
Alvarez said eight to 10 submission fighters in Guam have registered to the event. He is pretty much sure, he said, that there will be more Guam fighters who will come to participate.
Also coming from Guam is Brown Belt Extraordinaire Luis “The Shreddar” Blanco who will be the fight’s special guest referee.
Alvarez is once again calling all interested No Gi Submission of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fightersto register at the Trench Tech Gym in San Antonio from Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Or log onto www.trenchtech.tv to register online.
Weight categories will be 100-130- Bantam Weight; 131-140- Feather Weight; 141-150- Super Light Weight; 151-160- Light Weight; 161-180- Welter Weight
181-200- Middle Weight; 201 and up is heavyweight.
The entry fee is $20 per competitor into the double elimination tournament. The winners of the fight will receive gold, silver and bronze medals.
Fight fans interested to watch the tournament can pay $5 at the door.
