Manglona ruled that Xiao, 41, should answer the charges of one count of trafficking of controlled substance, and one count of illegal possession of controlled substance.
Manglona set Xiao’s arraignment for April 26, 2010. He was remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections after the hearing.
Assistant Attorney General William Downer represented the government while Assistant Public Defender Matthew J. Holley was the court-appointed counsel for Xiao.
Over 230 grams of “ice” worth $118,250 were seized from Xiao on April 7, 2010 by the Division of Customs and the Department of Public Safety’s Drug Enforcement Task Force.
Xiao, who uses the aliases “Hondan,” “Tasi,” and “Big Brother,” operated in the Papago area, authorities said.
