Major sponsorship status is conferred on companies that donate $1,000-$2,999 in cash or services.
Marianas Variety has continually supported this annual event which raises funds for cancer patient assistance, cancer awareness programs and other cancer related services.
The 2010 MMAC committee expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff and management of Marianas Variety for its support in the battle against cancer.
The 2010 Marianas March Against Cancer will be held on May 14-15 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.
There will be live entertainment, great food, fun games and other fundraising activities throughout the night for the whole community to enjoy.
There are 14 teams who will be competing in the largest cancer fundraising event in the CNMI.
Raffle tickets and luminaries are being sold by all 14 teams for only $5 each.
Cancer survivors and those undergoing cancer treatment are invited to a complementary dinner to be held in their honor.
All those who register and attend the free dinner will receive a medallion and t-shirt commemorating their battle against cancer.
