This year’s theme is “H.O.P.E. – Helping Ourselves with Positive Expressions.”
To help celebrate “H.O.P.E.,” there will be a walkathon on May 8, at 6:30 a.m. from Kilili Beach Pavilion going south to the tank in Beach Road.
Registration begins at 6 a.m. Immediately following the walkathon will be a Mental Health Wellness Fair at the Pavilion sponsored by the Coalition for Anti-Stigma of Mental Illness.
The Community Guidance Center, alongside CAMI and its community partner Northern Marianas Protection and Advocacy Systems Inc., encourage everyone to join them in their walk to promote “H.O.P.E.”
The Community Guidance Center offers services to the people of the CNMI to include but not limited to individual counseling, family counseling, anger management groups, relapse prevention groups, 12 step groups, and smoking cessation.
Furthermore, the Community Guidance Center, along with all its community partners encourages all residents of the CNMI to take some time daily to celebrate “H.O.P.E.”
