BRAVO No Bulls Hit and L.S. Hobbies Score Horse continued their climb in the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League standings with victories over their respective opponents on Wednesday night.
Bravo No Bulls Hit (40 wins-50 losses) narrowly escaped with the win against Black 8 Darty Gentz (47 wins-43 losses), 8-7, in the Kingfisher C Division.
No Bulls Hit started the night in control as David Cepeda and Mike Scaliem, who shared a 20.07 PPD, along with Vinson Vincent, pulled a 3-1 run in the opening 301 Double In/Double Out set.
Darty Gentz responded with a two-win sweep in the Partners Crazy Cricket set, but No Bulls Hit gave them a taste of their own medicine as they swept the next Partners 501 set to retain the lead, 5-3.
Darty Gentz tried to close the distance if not take the lead, but they could not kill No Bulls Hit’s momentum, splitting the Singles Regular Cricket (2-2) and Partners Half-It sets (1-1).
Although Darty Gentz claimed the final Team 1101 game, No Bulls Hit had already sealed the victory earlier in the night with a narrow 8-7 win.
L.S Hobbies Score Horse vs. North Cherry Popperz
L.S Hobbies Score Horse improved their record to 38 wins and 52 losses after trouncing the True North Cherry Popperz, 9-4.
Both teams evenly matched as they split the 301 Double In/Double Out set, 2-2.
However, when it came to teamwork, Score Horse’s Ernie Degillas and Joe Jack, along with Minerva Nelvis and Rhysanne Dizon, surprised their opponents with a two-win sweep in the Partners Crazy Cricket set to establish control, 4-2.
With the lead in hand, Score Horse shifted their focus to defense, holding off any comeback attempt from Cherry Popperz by splitting the next three sets and clinching the final Team 1101 game to secure a 9-4 victory.
