The MOU was signed by NMC interim President Lorraine Cabrera and Jeanette L. Brown, EPA small business program director.
Through the MOU, NMC and EPA said they will “work together to enhance cooperation” over the next five years.
The MOU provides for joint research projects and sharing information about initiatives or third parties that are of potential interest to them.
Yesterday, the EPA conducted three separate workshops at NMC on environmental justice and challenges, federal grant programs for small businesses, and doing business with the EPA and the federal government.
