Man Amigos still a team to beat in Chamolinian finals

The Man Amigos delivered this message loud and clear after completing an easy win against the Lancheros, 19-6, at the Capital Hil Ball Field.

Outfielder, Julian Camacho fired a two-run home run, then, JJ Laniyo rocketed a grand slam to set a strong lead in the top of the first inning.

Camacho caught two fly balls and Donald Flores had his first strike out to hold the Lancheros scoreless in two straight innings.

Then, the Man Amigos went on to their scoring surge with Manny Sablan firing a two-run home run, Eric Palacios, Camacho and Jeff Cabrera an RBI double apiece and Jerry Ayuyu an RBI single.

The Lancheros were able to trim down the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning with Anson Jones driving in two with a single and John Tomokane hitting an RBI double.

James Fleming hit an RBI single and Camacho fired his third base hit—a run-scoring single, as well and the Man Amigos never looked back.

Saipal 17, Chura 9

Paython Sakuma drove in two with a homer while Leo Bobai and Marino Hiroichi hit an RBI single apiece to set the lead in the first inning, then, went on to streak and beat Chura, 17-9.

JD Dikito hit a solo shot in the third and Kuich Damian launched a two-run home run to stretch the lead.

The Chura sluggers tried to keep pace as Fred Sato connected a two-run home run in the bottom of the second.
