Sera Salvador, Treasurer of Kombalii Ra San Francisco Habier Catholic Mission, said they donated 13 packs of diapers, three cases of milk drinks, 10 boxes of wet wipes, some towels and two bed sheets for the use of the elders in the hospital, as well as those who are in its homebound care.
“Our president, Mathias Akitaya, saw them on OTV when they said that need assistance for the elders, and we responded,” said Salvador.
She added that they normally go to the communities in Koror and other islands to help out. It was the first time that they donated stuff through the hospital.
“We normally help the community, visit homes through the church,” said Salvador.
