IT&E hands Ebisuya 1st loss; Team 10 posts 3rd win vs. Tasi Tours

With Gus Palacios and Yosh Gabaldon helping him out with a three-pointer apiece early in the first period, Mendoza pulled IT&E away.

Ebisuya tried to catch up with William Opone sizzling with nine of his total points in the second quarter, but IT&E kept the gap wide open towards the end of the first half.

Melvin Villarin, Alex Ocampo and Ernie Moises combined 17 points to help Ebisuya shave the lead in the third quarter where they also managed to hold IT&E back to limit their score to 16 points.

Villarin and Opone went into scoring surge in the fourth and scored 11 and 10 of their total points respectively in an attempt to help Ebisuya close in.

However, IT&E tightened defense resulting to Ebisuya’s missed shots in the middle of the final quarter. This allowed IT&E cagers to regain their lead and kept grip on it all the way to the buzzer.

Team Ten 99, Tasi Tours 84

Ray Duenas played like the biggest man of Team Ten leading the quad to a 99-84 victory over Tasi Tours.

Duenas used his speed and wits to outscore Tasi Tours’s top gun, Bobby Geli as he completed most of the successful fast breaks. He also grabbed offensive rebounds to kept scattering 39 points in the court.

With Duenas pouring in nine of his total points and Oliver Serrano adding five, Team Ten establish the lead in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Jerome Reyes picked up where Duenas left off, firing eight of his total points.

However, Richard Alejandro and Geli sizzled with 10 and nine points respectively to tie the ball game at the end of the first half.

Reyes went rampaging in the third to score 10 more points and helped Team Ten regain the lead.

Duenas added 17 points and Team Ten blew Tasi Tours out in the final quarter securing their third win.

Nathaniel Banatasan finished with 17 points to help Team Ten secure the lead.
