Rose Ada-Hocog, the group’s secretary, said the meeting will start at 1 p.m. and will be held at Poons Restaurant in Garapan.
“All current members and other interested women of NMI descent are urged to attend this important meeting,” she said.
Ada-Hocog said the group’s objective is to celebrate the gains made by women in society and to promote their continued growth and progress in the CNMI.
She said their group is composed of members from Saipan, Tinian and Rota.
The current officers are Florine Hofschneider of Tinian, president; Laura Manglona of Rota, vice president; and Lilian Pangelinan of Saipan, treasurer.
Ada-Hocog is the secretary and public relations officer.
The group’s advisers are Vice Speaker Felicidad T. Ogumoro, Rep. Teresita A. Santos and Sen. Jovita M. Taimanao.
