The Family Fun Night drew locals and tourists who were not hesitant to spend their money on the games as they were contributing to a good cause.
Games included balloon scooping, spin the wheel, face painting, fishing, marble challenge, and buzzer line.
i Sagua Spa offered spa services by the beach, while Hyatt Regency also sold food to the guests at affordable prices. A “garage” sale in one of the booths was one of the crowd drawers where new and used items were sold at very cheap prices.
Also up for silent auction were three Hyatt Regency dream getaway packages which include one night stay at the Executive Suite, Regency Club, and i Sagua Suite. With each package are dinner for two at Kili Café and Terrace or Miyako Restaurant, and 60 minutes Swedish massage for one person.
Hyatt Regency executive chef Gabrielle Colombo earlier told the Variety that Hyatt Regency wouls also add to the fundraising event 20 percent of the proceeds from the Mother’s Day Sunday brunch yesterday and the Miyako Restaurant’s pre-Mother’s day dinner on Saturday.
Colombo said for the next two weeks, Hyatt Regency will contribute 20 percent of all sales generated from their booths at the 2010 Taste of the Marianas at American Memorial Park every Saturday, and from the street market in Garapan on Thursday nights.
The Hyatt Regency Saipan has been a strong supporter of the Commonwealth Cancer Association and the Marianas March Against Cancer for several years now.
