The four young men at the rank of private first class and one lance corporal young woman currently on a 30-day “boot leave” from boot camp are on island in the capacity of recruiter’s assistants.
In exchange for their effort in educating other young islanders about the opportunities of military service, the five young Marines received free plane tickets to the CNMI.
“It’s a great program all the way around, for everybody,” commented Sgt. Gregorio Comeo, USMC recruiter for Saipan.
