Beer thief appears in court

Superior Court Judge Kenneth L. Govendo found probable cause that Kaipat may have committed the charges of burglary, theft, conspiracy to commit burglary, and conspiracy to commit theft.

The court allowed Kaipat to post $200 as 10 percent of the original $2,000 bail.

If he posts bail,  Kaipat must stay stay away from Round Two Bar in Garapan.

In the charging document, the AGO said Kaipat and Christopher Litulumar Romolor, 23, entered Round Two Bar and took two bottles of beer on Nov. 16, 2011.

Kaipat and Romolor appeared in court for  a probable cause hearing on the same day.

Variety learned that Romolor’s real name is Mwoloscholopi Crisogino L. Romolor based on identification cards issued by the Rota mayor’s office and the U.S. Social Security Administration.
