Superior Court Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja issued a bench warrant and imposed a $200 bail on Borja.
Naraja granted Assistant Attorney General Eileen Escudero’s oral motion for a bench warrant against Borja.
On March 30, 2011, then-Superior Court Judge, and now CNMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona sentenced Borja to three months’ imprisonment for unlawful possession of marijuana.
As part of the plea agreement, the court dismissed remaining charge of unlawful possession of ammunition against Borja.
Also, the prosecution relinquished its right to revoke Borja’s probation in another criminal case that will continue to run probation undisturbed, the court ordered.
On Dec. 26, 2010, authorities found 24 marijuana plants being cultivated at Borja’s residence in Kagman.
Six bullets for .38 caliber gun and a bullet for .357 caliber gun were also found from a bag at Borja’s residence, police said.
