AGO files 10 charges against man arrested for molesting 13-year-old boy

Assistant Attorney General Shelli Neal charged Imperial, 29, with two counts of sexual assault in the first degree; two counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree; two counts of incest; sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree; unlawful exploitation of a minor; and two counts of indecent exposure in the first degree.

Imperial was ordered to answer the charges on his arraignment scheduled for Dec. 12, 2011.

The court imposed a $50,000 cash bail on Imperial, who is represented by the Public Defender Office.

Authorities learned about the incident after students of a public high school were seen watching a video of the victim and Imperial performing lewd acts on a school-issued laptop.

Court records showed that Imperial was previously charged for punching his mother, criminal mischief, and interfering with a domestic violence report in 2007; for kicking his father in 2006; conspiracy, theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief, with co-defendant Raymond Aldan Ayuyu, in 2002; and minor consuming alcohol in 2000.
