Japanese actor weds on Saipan

Kuroda was represented by the talent agency of Honorary CNMI Tourism Ambassador Chiaki Nagumo.  Among the TV shows of this San Francisco- born actor were Kiniro no Tsubasa (Fuji TV, 2007), Trick 3 (TV Asahi, 2003), Chocolat (MBS, 2003), Mayonaka wa Betsu no Kao (NHK, 2002), Hanamura Daisuke (Fuji TV, 2001, SP), Kou Kou Kyoushi (TBS, 1993) and Kimi ga Uso wo Tsuita (Fuji TV, 1988).  Kuroda’s official website is http://kuroda-arthur.com.

A cocktail/reception followed at the Hyatt gardens after the ceremony which started past 4 p.m. and drew a select crowd of visitors including Marianas Visitors Authority Managing Director Perry Tenorio, representatives from tour and travel agencies, Saipan Mayor Donald Flores, Japanese Consul Tsutomu Higuchi, friends and relatives, and representatives of local and international media including TBS, one of Japan’s major TV stations.

Watabe Wedding, one of the wedding coordinators and boutiques operating on island for over 15 years, helped facilitate the wedding. The tour and travel agencies on Saipan work with MVA in an effort to create a reputation for the island not only as an ideal wedding destination, but also as a destination for holding marriage renewals in the Pacific.

Last September, Hyatt Regency Saipan general manager Nick Nishikawa and his wife Pamela renewed wedding vows on the 25th anniversary of their marriage at the Hyatt gardens to launch the campaign for making Saipan a destination for wedding renewals.
