GFT is asking the Department of Administration, the Attorney General’s Office and the Guam Legislature to conduct formal investigations into the allegations.
According to GFT, the school board and the Guam Department of Education have not provided any documentation, law, statute, administrative ruling, or otherwise to support the actions taken against GFT.
The union said the board acted in violation of the law, and GFT is calling for a formal investigation into Rector’s removal from the board.
On April 27, Rector became an ex-officio member of the board, serving as the GFT representative. At the Aug. 26 regular board meeting, the board passed a motion to remove Rector.
