Judge Kenneth L. Govendo found probable cause to continue the detention of Romolor who was charged with assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and criminal mischief.
The prosecution said Romolor slapped his wife in the presence of their children, and damaged property.
Assistant Attorney General Shelli Neal represented the government while Detective Catherine Pangelinan was the government witness.
Assistant Public Defender Benjamin Peterburg represented Romolor.
Govendo granted Petersburg’s motion to allow Romolor to post $150, or 10 percent of his bail, with the remainder posted as an unsecured bond.
Petersburg said his client is a customer service employee at the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.
Govendo directed Romolor to stay away from his wife and children.
