The presentations are part of an ongoing exchange between UOG and the University of Bremen. Featured will be three different presentations from representatives of the University of Bremen, ranging from research about the Chamorro language through a German-made Chamorro grammar text and Chamorro dictionary; language endangerment due to colonialism; and an analysis of the legend of Chaifi that was published in Chamorro and German.
On Wednesday, Sept. 14, Barbara Dewein will be presenting on H. Costenoble’s Chamorro Dictionary.
The presentation will be held at the CLASS Lecture Hall from 6 to 7 p.m.
