The chamber of commerce has issued a statement to all the members of the business community to inform them that a designated area at the Yap Small Business Development Center has already been reserved for members who wish to help support and promote the 3rd annual canoe festival.
The chamber stated that while supporting the traditional canoe festival, businesses will have the opportunity to make some sales and promote their own business.
The chamber has advised all members that they are allowed to sell any item during the festival except alcoholic beverages, which will not be allowed on the premises.
It has encouraged the members to sell and promote items are related to the theme of the canoe festival.
