DPW to accept e-wastes from residential customers only

On the other hand, the establishment of the disposal rates by Oct. 1 will affect all waste haulers, i.e., residential, commercial and government. Please note also that at this time no electronic wastes will be accepted from commercial or government haulers.

Monday, Sept. 5, is Labor Day. The transfer station and the Marpi landfill will be closed in observance of this holiday.

Government payday week

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Open: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

• Wednesday close – All day

• Lunch-close – 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Non-government payday week

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – open 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

• Wednesday-close – All day

• Saturday – open 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

• Lunch-close – 12 p.m. to 1p.m.
