An executive proclamation, judicial resolution, and legislative resolution were presented Justice Monessa G. Lujan’s appellate courtroom.
This year’s theme is “BASTA: Bullying Affects Students, Teachers, and All.”
Events will be held throughout the month to commemorate the efforts of the island and nation in changing the culture of bullying among the youth.
A first-ever three-day conference will be held from Oct. 25 to 27 by the judiciary of and the Guam Department of Education on bullying prevention and intervention for parents, students, school personnel and youth service providers. Four off-island experts on bullying prevention, including former NBA star Terry Dozier, will speak at the conference.
