Rollers outgun Girls Natl. Team, 57-28

The Rollers — twice the National Team’s size — had no problems landing a field goal in both halves.

Lead scorer Prince Factor had already scored eight of his 11 points in the first quarter, aiding shots from Jason Iglesias and Toshi Pangelinan.

Rachel Abrams, the tallest among the girls, eked out four points on open layups and posted 10 points overall to lead her team’s offense. Abrams stole twice from Factor and William Camacho but struggled to erase their 21-point deficit.

The Rollers dominated from start to finish and outnumbered the National Team’s six-player squad.

Camacho came behind Factor with eight points, Jerone Ano scored six, and Alcor Admana and Brylan Floresca earned four each.

Mendoza buried the Aces on a three-pointer from the second quarter and added five more points on two field goals from the second half.
