“In August 2011, 50,896 or 77.1 percent of visitors came to Fiji for holiday purposes, an increase of 10.4 percent when compared to August 2010,” Bainimarama said. “A further 5131 or 7.8 percent came to visit their friends or relatives, while 15.1 percent came for other reasons.”
