Sandy Beach Homes to install new playground equipment in CK

Bob Jones, managing partner of Sandy Beach Homes, said the equipment is worth $26,000.

“Our goal is to get back to the community so they would be able to enjoy the fruit and development of this construction project,” he said.

Jones, who was accompanied by Mike Sablan, also of Sandy Beach Homes, brought Flores to the possible site of the playground.

The mayor’s office will let them know the final site of the playground, Jones said.

Flores was thankful for the assistance of Sandy Beach Homes.

“This is something that would make the community very happy,” he said.

His office, the mayor said, will immediately set up a meeting with the regulatory agencies for the installation of the playground equipment.

These agencies include the Department of Public Lands, Coastal Resource Management and the Division of Parks and Recreation.

Flores said Sandy Beach Homes will install the playground at its own expense.

The mayor’s office, he added, will “adopt” the playground and will maintain it.
