On Sunday, Aug. 14, the victim, a 29-year-old local female, arrived home that evening with her husband to discover their home burglarized. Their 32-inch flat screen TV was missing along with a DVD player.
The point of entry was through an empty air-conditioning slot. Plywood covering the slot was pried open and taken off. There was a ladder left on the wall outside used to gain entry.
The stolen items are described as a Black 32-inch Samsung Flat screen TV rented from Dial Rent to Own. The DVD player (brand unknown) was purchased from the U.S. Army PX. The estimated amount of the stolen items is over $1,000.
