Consul General Medardo Macaraig said they will offer classes on computer operation, domestic refrigeration, Mandarin language and culinary arts.
They will also conduct a business management seminar.
Slots will be on first-come, first-served basis. Applicants are required to bring their umbrella permit/parole in place, passport and one ID picture.
The basic computer operations 1 class will have six sessions from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Sunday from Aug. 14 to Sept. 25 except on Sept. 4.
Computer instructors Zaldy P. Quebral and Marilyn D. Quebral will teach Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Internet basic and email.
The Mandarin language class will be administered by Reynaldo L. Garcia and will run for six Sundays from Aug. 14 to Sept. 25, except Sept. 4, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
James R. Abuy will be domestic refrigeration and air-conditioning instructor and the classes will be held for six Sundays from Sept. 3 to Oct. 8, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The culinary courses will be handled by Hermie B. Coronejo. The class for Japanese dishes will be on Aug. 20; Filipino dishes, Aug. 27; Chinese dishes, Sept. 3; sauce making, Sept. 10; and salad dressing, Sept. 17.
All culinary classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm.
The classes will be conducted at the Filipino Workers Resource Center at the Marianas Business Plaza.
