Dayna Lacuab-Fegurgur and Pippa MacDonald gained clinical experience required for their coursework by shadowing doctors.
Fegurgur and MacDonald will be entering their second year of medical school this fall. They came to Guam under a program funded by the Veterans Administration. Medical students were also sent to American Samoa and Pohnpei.
Fegurgur is a local girl and plans to return to Guam after her studies are completed.
