Included in each course are the safety components that will allow a person to perform these installations and repairs safely and successfully, and save money in the process, GCC stated.
Participants in the Basic Home Improvement course will learn how to change out a light switch and light fixtures, paint a room correctly, install a faucet or a sink, and more.
The Basic Home Improvement course contains five components: painting, carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and electrical — taught by certified professionals. The package cost for all five courses cost $600 per student. Courses are also offered individually.
GCC’s fully stocked labs will allow students to learn how to perform the skills associated with each component, the GCC press release stated.
