“Given that the medical examiner on Guam is currently unavailable, efforts are still ongoing to seek a medical examiner to determine the cause of death and the possibility of discovering the identity of the remains,” he added.
Demapan said DPS is in the process of reviewing its missing persons data for any indication that would shed light on the identity of the remains.
