If you are looking for something unique to decorate your shelves, adorn your rooms, change the look of your furniture, or other items, put an end to your search at Melanie’s Outlet, located at the newly renovated VS Sablan Plaza in Chalan Kanoa.
Melanie’s Outlet carries a wide assortment of decorative and useful items that you can buy at a very affordable price. It’s one store where you can bring home a piece of art for as little as $2, or a designer bag for $50 to add to your collection.
The inspiration to open up a display area for the hundreds of knick-knacks sprang from the interest of shop owner Tess Cabaltica in beautiful things.
Melanie’s Outlet, which Cabaltica named after her daughter, has a unique assortment of exquisite teapots and china sets, colorful vases, toys, used DVDs and Playstations, picture frames, fashion jewelry, perfumes, skin care products, designer bags, colorful seat covers, kitchen gadgets and utensils, footwear, and what-have-you.
At Melanie’s Outlet each item is one-of-a-kind so the chances of finding somebody wearing exactly the same item as you do is very slim, and the items are very affordable.
“This is just for our starter collections,” Cabaltica said, adding that customers can expect to see more on the shelves soon. She buys her collections from “just everywhere.”
Melanie’s Outlet will soon be displaying a selection of clothes to suit the varied tastes of different individuals.
“We are still getting the pulse of what the local market wants, and will be coming up with more displays depending on what the market wants,” she said.
Melanie’s Outlet is the first establishment to move into VS Sablan Plaza at the corner of Beach Road and As Perdido Road.
Cabaltica said she is looking forward to having more businesses renting the rest of the commercial spaces, including the space for a restaurant next to her stall.
“The original plan for this building is to make this into a mall, a one-stop commercial center where everybody can drop by and buy everything they need, and we are glad to be here first to start the trend,” she said.
Melanie’s Outlet is located at the left side of Subway Saipan. Enjoy browsing through the display shelves and bring home a piece to brighten up your home.
