“Our Foundation will be donating $5,000 to the Commonwealth Cancer Association and $5,000 to Karidat’s House of Manhoben,” said Sylvia Duenas, TakeCare Foundation chairwoman.
The TakeCare Foundation is composed of employees of TakeCare Insurance and the FHP Health Center who are devoted to charitable and educational causes that enhance the health, wellness and welfare of individuals, families and the public at large.
It is unique because it is employee-driven. TakeCare and FHP employees play a major role in assisting with the contributions and the selection process of the grant recipients.
