Just recently, at least six CUC personnel passed the test given by the Division of Environmental Quality.
Burkett said before taking the examination, the personnel attended continuing education training sessions to become certified drinking water operators.
They are Agustin Castro, water distribution operator level 1 and water treatment level I examination; Christopher Deleon Guerrero, water treatment level 1 and water distribution level 2 exam; Anthony Agulto, water distribution operator level 1 and water treatment level 1; Arden Crisostomo, water treatment level 1; Diony Camacho, water distribution level 2; and Joel Puyat, water distribution level 1.
Burkett said nine more CUC employees are scheduled to take the DEQ test in the next two weeks.
Three operators on Rota will also take the test, he added.
CUC management is very supportive of all its personnel who want to take the test and become a certified water operator, he said.
“This will improve our operations and give us more qualified personnel,” he added.
