Each team must have four registered participants on the official roster of the tournament. The registration fee is set at $5 per player.
“We would like to have everyone register by Thursday, which was the original deadline for the tournament,” said league coordinator Rex Yabut in an interview with the Marianas Variety.
“But since many are asking to join on the day of the competition we will extend the deadline to an hour before the tournament will commence on Sunday,” Yabut added.
First to third place winners will receive trophies. However the trophies will be awarded during the kick off date of the United Filipino Organization’s Basketball tournament slated for July 10.
“So far we have had ten teams sign up already,” said Bong Malasarte in an interview with the Marianas Variety. “We expect more people to register on the day of the tournament,” Malasarte added.
