Right now, the speed bump and the road look the same. At night, drivers cannot see the speed bump until the vehicle bumps into it. Perhaps painting them or installing reflectors will help drivers notice that a speed bump is ahead.
I hope the secretary of DPW, Mr. Martin Sablan, is reading this letter of mine and considers it important enough to make it happen.
I understand that the government is suffering and facing severe financial difficulties, but I believe my suggestion is for the safety of the general public and for automobile operators.
In reality, it is the job of our lawmakers to be looking into this issue and referring it to the responsible department of the government, but I consider myself a concerned citizen.
