Voyagers on fire in 8-ball league

Although team Shark Attack had the advantage of their home arena as the main venue of the night this did not stop the Voyagers from dominating.

The Voyagers are currently pulling in an extreme record of 45 wins and 18 losses tallying their winning average to 71.4 percent.

The Voyagers’ sister team, team Jonny’s Home Boyz outgunned the Docomo Hustlers out of their overall second place seat. The Home Boyz routed past VFW’s X-Tream, 5-2, in their home arena at the Jonny’s Bar and Grill.

The Home Boyz edged past the Hustlers by one win, 42 wins and 21 losses, a 66.7 percent winning average while the latter faltered with 41 wins and 22 losses, a 65.1 percent winning average.

In the Obyan Division D’Pirates Best Choice is now in first place after snatching the two week throne from team USSP’s Fotten Palau. Team Best Choice has a current record of 29 wins and 34 losses, a 46.0 percent winning average.

The latter has 26 wins and 37 losses, a 41.3 percent winning average. The Fotten Palaus faltered to the current Obyan Division top contenders, D’Pirates Best Choice, via 6-1 point tally.

Althouhg suffering a current upset against Agigan’s Voyagers team Shark Attack is still situated in third place in a pool of six teams with 25 wins and 38 losses.

Agigan division’s most 8-ball on break is Mario Diola and Jojo Talibong with one point each. Agigan division’s current most Run-The-Rack is Chester Hamoy, Mark Butac, Jojo Talibong, Rolly Villanueva, Rey Pinangay, and Jerry Soriano each clinching three points a piece.

Obyan division’s most 8-ball on break is Nong Detdon and George Lizardo with one point each while Obyan division’s current most Run-The-Rack is Tero Takai, Joey Agulto, John Mongami, Arnel Orbita, Patrick Cepeda, Chester Cuento, and Bobby Lozano with three points per player.
