On July 16, Rep. Teresita A. Santos, Ind.-Rota, said they will conduct a public hearing on Senate Local Bill 17-4.
The bill will require the Rota Zoning Board to allow the commercial construction and renovation project consistent with pre-established criteria “to maintain aesthetically pleasing businesses” on Route 10.
Santos, the acting chairwoman of the Rota Legislative Delegation, said they will also review public comments regarding the nomination of Lorenzo A. Barcinas to the Rota Municipal Scholarship Board.
The public hearing will be conducted at 6 p.m. in the Rota mayor’s conference room.
Santos said she is encouraging community members to attend the hearing.
She said written comments may be submitted to the office of Sen. Juan M. Ayuyu, Ind.-Rota, on Capitol Hill before the start of the hearing.
“Oral testimony may be presented at the public hearing, and if you wish to present oral testimony, the chairman of the delegation must be informed no later than 24 hours prior to the public hearing,” she said.
