Rotary Club president Glen Perez inducted Dancoe who was sponsored by past president David Igitol.
Dancoe brings with him over 10 years of involvement with the Rotary Club International, serving as past president of the Rotary Club of Saipan before relocating to Guam, where he became the club president for Northern Guam.
He returned to Saipan late last year with wife Sonia Pangelinan Dancoe and their two children.
“It’s good to be back here, and join the club again,” Dancoe said.
He is currently working for KKMP, a radio station owned by former Rep. Rosemond Santos and husband Gary Sword, playing reggae, Melanesian, Polynesian and Micronesian music and promoting cultural events.
Dancoe also serves for the advisory board of the CNMI Salvation Army. He and his wife are members of the Salvation Army’s “Kitchen Cabinet” or the soup kitchen’s committee in charge with coordinating donations, food drives, and publicity.
“Getting involved with the Salvation Army is our way of serving and giving back to the community,” he said.
