Blue Hauz – now with one win and one loss – trumped Cellular Pro, 54-42, leaving the latter with no wins so far this season.
Cellular Pro’s Joe Villacrusis top scored with 21 points, landing 13 in the second half.
Blue Hauz dominated, 8-2 early in the first period and 23-15 in the second. Dexter Tenorio and Phonani Lazona’s back-to-back baskets pushed the team 10 points ahead, with Villacrusis and teammate Jose Tudela struggling to catch up.
Talania missed twice before bagging his last shot in the final 30 seconds. Jomar Tumaquip and Lisua rallied for eight points apiece while Zack Diaz scored six.
Tudela piled six points for Cellular Pro. Eric Dulfo and Jude Loste scored four each.

Two-in-a-row for Inchcape
Inchcape triumphed once again after downing team Brabu Pharmacy, 86-70 in an earlier match.
Kae Bernardo and Jun Tabora’s early-game scoring spree gave Inchcape a massive 32-12 lead in the first period, with the former piling a game high of 28 points.
Tabora landed 12 of his 22 points later in the third quarter. Ferdie Tobias, scoring 13, hammered two of Inchcape’s three three-pointers by the second half.
Brabu Pharmacy – unable to cope with its 16-point deficit – fell again for its second straight loss.
Bernardo penetrated Walter Brillo and Arthur Montes’ defense for two more shots in the final period.
Bart Demapan tallied 12 points, Victor Mallari scored four, and Jun Pantaleon earned three for Inchcape. Marvin Marchadesch and Ed Echavez added two each.
