Free lecture on underwater historic trail

Are you interested in learning more about the trail, along with recent discoveries in the history of local marine sites, ships, planes, and other artifacts?

For the past several years, underwater archaeologists from the U.S. and Australia have been conducting research on underwater sites in the CNMI’s waters. These sites range from post-colonial, turn-of-the-century sites to war sites to indigenous sites. This lecture will relate some of their more interesting research and discoveries.

Everyone is invited to a public talk to be given by Dr. Jennifer McKinnon of Flinders University, Australia, and hosted by the Asia Pacific Academy of Science, Education, and Environmental Management. Mark your calendar for Friday, April 22, at the American Memorial Park auditorium, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Seating is limited so please arrive early. For more information, email [email protected]; [email protected]; or [email protected].
