Ray’s outrun A’s, 12-3 in Little League

A seven-run fifth inning was all the Ray’s needed to secure the game, with short stop Peterson Rengiil landing his second RBI single. JD Delos Santos – who left the scoring position on Rengiil’s hit – delivered a run-scoring single earlier. Jose Pangelinan followed with another RBI single, JJ Taisacan home.

Jade hit the As’ only triple at the bottom of the second, earning the team its last two runs. Third baseman Christian Lizama made a sacrifice bat earlier to advance Justin Lisua from the scoring position.

Rengiil went 4-for-4 and led the Ray’s with four singles, three stolen bases, and two runs. Delos Santos struck out eight and went 2-for-4 with three runs and two singles. Catcher Jay Kalen went 1-for-4 with two runs.

Enforcers 19, McDonald’s 4

The Junior Police Officer Program’s Enforcers continued their dominance with a blowout 19-4 victory over team McDonald’s.

The Enforcers – thriving on several errors – pulled away with eight runs at the bottom of the third. First baseman Cedric Camacho drove Leo Williams home with a single, lifting the team, 4-3. Catcher Shakobe Rangamar connected a two-run single while Williams hit a sacrifice bat to drive Benji Rangamar in.

Team McDonald’s took its only lead at the bottom of the first, with three runs from Perry T., George P., and Rico U.

Lizama went 1-for-4 with four runs, landing a crowd-roaring home run at the top of the fourth. Starting pitcher Joaquin Saralu bagged two RBI, hitting one single and a triple in the same inning. Camacho went 3-for-4, earning four runs and capping the game with a run-scoring triple. Rangamar, Williams, Ethan Lizama, and Lloyd Tarope tallied two runs each.
