The diners, who availed of the special buffet lunch in celebration of the Administrative Professionals Day, were from various government and private offices on island.
The models are students from different high schools trained by event coordinator Sharmaine Casquero, and it was not their first time on the ramp.
Most of them joined the first eco-fashion show at the multi-purpose center in Susupe and the Trashin’ Fashion show at American Memorial Park during the recent celebration of the Environmental Awareness Month.
Casquero said such fashion shows are a more effective way of raising environmental awareness among the youth.
“The fashion shows also gave the students a chance to show their creativity through their designs and their ingenuity in coming up with ideas on what scrap materials they can use to make beautiful creations,” Casquero said.
