The cash bail represented 10 percent of the $1,500 bail. Lanzo, 25, was required to post $1,350 in unsecured bond.
Lanzo was brought before Govendo for his bail hearing on Wednesday.
Lanzo was charged with assault and battery, and disturbing the peace of his girlfriend.
Govendo ordered Lanzo to stay away from his partner, their one-year-old son and seven-month-old daughter, the victim’s mother, and the victim’s residence.
Govendo allowed Lanzo to get his belongings from the victim’s residence but under the supervision of the Department of Public Safety.
Detective Peter A. Aldan said Lanzo punched and slapped the victim several times.
It was not clear why Lanzo assaulted his partner, Aldan said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the residence of the victim’s mother in Chalan Laulau.
Govendo remanded Lanzo to the custody of the Department of Corrections after the hearing.
Chief Prosecutor Michael Ernest represented the government.
