25th Anniversary Red Cross Walkathon a fun filled success!

1,950 individuals submitted pledge forms and received a t-shirt, refreshments and a first aid kit.

“The Red Cross is grateful for the community support again this year” said John Hirsh, executive director of the NMI chapter. “Our event is really a team effort between the Red Cross, public/private schools and The Ayuda Network, which coordinates the Health and wellness fair. We wouldn’t have such a great event without our partners, donors and volunteers who worked so hard” said Hirsh.  The chapter raised approximately $52,000 after expenses.
