To date, 10 corporate teams have submitted applications. The chamber traditionally accepts entries from its members only, but this year has decided to open up registration to non-member companies. Members can enter for $300 while the non-member entry is $400.
The Corporate Challenge has always been a fun event where companies can capitalize on the event and use it as a company outing or employee appreciation day. There are competitive races and games with prizes, and a judged tent competition. This year’s theme is “Island Style Recycling” where recycled material will be used to decorate individual corporate entry tents. A panel of judges will decide the winners.
The event is used to assist in funding the chamber’s annual scholarship awards and educational endeavors.
