In the Stock Short Course “A-MAIN” category Jude Dickinson, Traxxas Slash, was heralded the top qualifier but did not have the edge to slip past Paul Salalila, Traxxas Slash, who took first blood of the race finising in first place. Dickinson then tailed him to bag second place followed by Rommel Isidro, Traxxaz Slash.
In the Stock Short Course “B-MAIN” Paul Guerrero, Traxxas Slash, snatched the Top Qualifier seat as well as second place. With all of his efforts Guerrero still did not beat the younger Jude Dickinson, Jude Dickinson Jr., who nailed first place, Team Losi XXX-SCT, and to complete the top three came Kurt Diaz, Traxxas Slash.
In the Open Short Course category Salalila was seen again displaying his RC talents on the arena after collaring the top quailifer seat and the coveted first place followed by Dickinson and then Rodney Catalla.
In the final category, the 1/8 Nitro “Truggy” class, Salalila, Kyosho STRR, again domineered by taking the top qualifier and first place certificates to leave Rodney Catalla, Team Associated RC8T, in second place and Jojo Saracho, Mugen MBX6T, in third place.
“The weather was good during the race and everything went well for the competition. Paul Salalila amazingly swept all three classes,” said tournament coordinator Rodney Catalla in an email to the Marians Variety.
