According to the Secretary General of the Rocball Federation of India, Mr. Chetan Pagawad of Mumbai, India somewhere between 800 to 900 Rocball players from 16 different states of India sent 57 teams to play in three divisions of Rocball: the Senior Men & Women, the Junior Boys & Girls, and the Sub-Junior Boys & Girls leagues.
Officials from the Sport Ministry of India, Members of the Olympic Committee, The National Interscholastic High Association, and State Sport Associations attended India’s First National Rocball Tournament.
The first National Rocball games of India were played in the Rajeev Gandhi Stadium in Sidko, Aurangalad State. The “World Organized Rocball” originating out of Saipan has been requested to allow terms to follow up on more organized Rocball games in India.
A “Copyright License Agreement” was sent to the Rocball Federation of India to allow the sport of Saipan to be played within the borders of India.
However, from recent communications they are requesting more Rocball news releases from Saipan that would include India’s accomplishments and allow them the authority to expand “Saipan’s Sport” to include another 15 to 20 countries.
